Getting started
How do I improve my first job posting?
Go to your dashboard and click "Improve a job posting". Enter a job title, select the language, paste your existing job description and click "Run Improver". Results appear in seconds.
What languages are supported?
The Improver currently supports English, German (Deutsch), and Dutch (Nederlands) with full best-practice analysis. French, Spanish, and Portuguese are planned for a future release.
How long should my job description be?
The ideal length is 300–700 words. The Improver will flag postings that are too short or too long and suggest what to trim or expand.
Can I edit the improved version before saving?
Yes — click "Edit text" on the preview page to make changes directly before saving. You can add company details, department information, or any other content the Improver couldn't generate automatically.
The improvement process
What are the 7 focus areas?
The Improver checks your posting across: Grammar & Spelling, Readability, Inclusive Language, Length & Structure, Bullet Points, Role Clarity, and Requirements vs Nice-to-Haves.
How does gender bias detection work?
The Improver uses a research-backed word list from Gaucher, Friesen & Kay (2011) to identify masculine-coded words (e.g. "dominant", "assertive", "competitive") and feminine-coded words. It replaces them with neutral alternatives to attract a broader candidate pool.
Can I accept or reject individual changes?
Yes — before saving, click "Review & accept changes" to see every suggested change with a before/after example. You can uncheck any changes you don't want to apply. You must tick "I have reviewed and accept these improvements" before saving.
Can I compare the original and improved versions?
Yes — the preview page opens in compare view by default, showing the original on the left and the improved version on the right. Click "Single view" to see just the improved version.
What if I want to revert to the original?
On the preview page, click "Cancel" in the accept changes modal and select "Discard improvements and start again". Note that the Improver run has already used one posting credit — running it again will use another.
Usage and credits
What counts as one posting credit?
Each time you click "Run Improver" uses one credit. Viewing, editing, copying, saving, or re-opening saved postings does not count toward your limit.
What happens when I reach my monthly limit?
You will not be able to run the Improver until your limit resets at the start of your next billing period. You can still view, edit, and export postings already in your library. You can also top up your credits or upgrade your plan.
Can I buy additional posting credits?
Yes — go to Account & Billing and click "Top up postings". You can purchase 10, 25, or 50 additional credits at any time.
Do top-up credits expire?
No — top-up credits roll over month to month and never expire as long as your subscription is active. Your regular monthly credits reset each billing period, but any unused top-up credits carry forward. Top-up credits are used after your regular monthly credits are exhausted.
When does my monthly limit reset?
Your limit resets at the start of each billing period. You can see your reset date on the dashboard usage meter.
Your library
How do I organise my library?
Create folders and give them any name you like — by role, location, language, or any other category. Save postings into folders when saving, or move them later by selecting them and choosing a folder, or by dragging and dropping onto a folder in the left panel.
Can I rename or delete folders?
Yes — hover over a folder name to see the rename icon. To delete a folder, click the three dots next to it. Postings inside a deleted folder are moved to "All postings" — they are not deleted.
Can I duplicate a posting?
Yes — click "Duplicate" on any posting card in the library. Give the copy a new title and optionally select a folder. The duplicate opens in the editor so you can adapt it for a different location, seniority level, or language.
Can I archive a posting?
Yes — click "Archive" on a posting card. Archived postings are hidden from your library but not permanently deleted. Access them by clicking "Archived" at the bottom of the left panel and restore them at any time.
Can I re-run the Improver on a saved posting?
Yes — click "Edit" on a posting in the library, make any changes to the text, and click "Re-run Improver". This uses one posting credit and generates a fresh improvement based on the current text.
Does saving to the library count toward my monthly limit?
No — only running the Improver counts. Saving, viewing, editing, duplicating, archiving, and exporting postings are all free actions.
Team features (Tier 2 and Enterprise)
How do I invite team members?
Go to Account → Team management and click "Invite member". Enter their email address and select their role (Member or Admin). They will receive an email with a link to accept the invitation.
What are the different roles?
Owner — full access, manages billing and team. Admin — can invite and remove members and change roles. Member — can improve and save job postings.
Is the monthly posting limit shared across the team?
Yes — the monthly posting limit is shared across all team members. The team usage meter on the dashboard shows the combined total.
What happens to postings if a team member leaves?
Their postings remain in the shared library. Removing a member does not delete their content.
Can I transfer ownership to another team member?
Yes — go to Team management, find the member you want to make Owner, and change their role to Owner. You will become an Admin.
Account & Billing
How do I manage my subscription?
Go to Account & Billing and click "Manage subscription". This opens the Stripe customer portal where you can update your payment method, view invoices, and cancel your subscription.
Can I cancel during the free trial?
Yes — cancel any time before your trial ends and you will not be charged. Go to Account & Billing → Manage subscription → Cancel plan.
If I cancel, when does access end?
Access continues until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged for the next period.
Can I download my data before deleting my account?
Yes — go to Account & Billing, scroll to the bottom and click "Delete my account". Step 1 gives you the option to download all your improved postings as a text file before confirming deletion.
Are prices inclusive of VAT?
No — all prices shown are exclusive of VAT/BTW. VAT is added at checkout based on your location and business status.
